How to elimenate Vista and install XP on notebook
Some time ago one of friend of mine has bought a notebook. Not such bad, powerful computer. He has bought it with Windows Vista Basic preinstalled. In week everything begin to "hung up", power off etc. What has said once upon a time my good friend: "You know what is a "multifunction braking"? No, this not from area of the cars. It meanes every application on your PC hold up simultaneously and everything holds up simply all immediately!"...
So here is. It was tormented this newly made owner of new technologies certain time, and has asked me to erase uncomfortable and incomprehensible for it Microsoft Vista, - and to install old mellow Windows XP to his notebook.
It is said - is made. The pair hours I have spent on download drivers - cause in kit, what is usual, there was drivers under Vista only. I download all necessities and begun install. And literally through several minutes I has found that Windows XP be installed there at all does not want. Moreover, errors all some strange - that one file it on install-CD does not see, that another. I tried with another install-CDs - nothing new. And I'd go to Google...
In process of googling I was realized that the problem is not a nova, and enemies solve it simply and radically - format the partition, on which is planned to install XP, and where earlier stood Vista.
I has formatted the partition - and bingo! - no problems with installation.
компютриTherefore question - do exist some other ways to erase Vista correct way so that afterwards possible to install XP on that partition? I'd not research this question deeply, - but interest, as it is spoken, remained.
